Insurance and Qualifications |

At Mountains to Water all our staff and instructors are covered by professional indemnity insurance. In the UK there is no requirement for an outdoor company to hold any qualifications unless they are operating with under 18s commercially, We strongly believe that this is inadequate and therefore only employ appropriately qualified instructors who hold current and up to date national governing body awards. In additional all our guides hold a first aid qualification. There are a number of qualifications available for those working professionally within the outdoors industry. |

| Craig Palmer, company founder, personally holds; IML, WML, SML, SPA, a number of canoe & kayaking coaching levels, swift water technician, RYA power boat - safety boat & VHF radio, is MIA trained, and is also a first aid trainer & assessor. In addition to passing a number of command and leadership courses, Craig holds a professional trainer certificate. | |
