Day 1 covers all the basic skills needed to deal with a first aid incident in a safe and controlled manner. Day 2 moves to the practical side with a strong emphasis on practical scenarios in the type of terrain you would be working in, utilising the kit that you should have on you. The course also covers group management. Realistic wound simulation is used on pretend casualties in the practical scenarios. We teach you how to double your first aid kit by using everyday items that you may have with you aside from your med kit. |
