Who are We?

At Mountains-to-Water we pride ourselves on delivering an unforgetably rewarding, tailor made experience to our clients. Unlike other companies that only provide set courses or packages, we work directly with our clients to create a tailor made adventure package to suit their requirements. This allows flexibility in both dates and activities.

Mountains to Water is founded by Craig Palmer an ex Royal Marine who has over 17 years of outdoor leadership experience gained from both active service in the Royal Marines and within the outdoor leisure industry. Craig has extensive qualifications in both mountain and water activities to a high standard.

Craig is an active member of Penrith Mountain Rescue Team and during the winter months, provides the snow and ice condition reports on Helvellyn for Weatherline on behalf of the Lake District National Park.

All instructors employed by Mountains to Water have the appropriate recognised qualifications and high level of experience.
